TOM KORBA - CHAPMAN STICK

Tom began his training playing Classical Contra Bass in his high school orchestra, electric bass in the jazz band, and electric bass in a local rock band. He then moved to New York City where he has performed in such famous venues as CBGB's and Max's Kansas City. His band "Just Water" achieved recognition with a rock remake of "Singin' in the Rain", which was released on Stiff Records. More recently a "Just Water" song "Witness to the Crime" appeared in the Movie "My New Gun". Tom has performed with a wide variety of musical projects including: Oldies, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Rock Country Rock, Brazilian Folk. He recently appeared with "Angela Patua" on PBS with their performance at the South Florida Folk Festival. Since moving to Florida, Tom has been playing and recording with various acts.
